The Software 500 is an annual revenue-based ranking of largest software and service providers in the world targeting medium to big businesses, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. Itransition Software is the only European company in the list delivering business application development services.
"The Software 500 is the shortlist of business partners for CIOs, senior IT managers and IT staff research," says John P. Desmond, editor of Software Magazine and Softwaremag.com. "It is a reference of vendor viability. That is content of value."

There are more than 98 new companies on the list this year, with Itransition Software one of them. Suppliers are not ranked on their total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. The financial information was gathered by a survey prepared by King Content Co. and posted at www.Softwaremag.com, as well as from public documents.
